As we continue to deliver & evolve, we are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Advisor/Document Controller to join our team.

About the role
The QA Advisor / Doc Controller is responsible for monitoring QA document control requirements and ensure compliance with Project Quality Plan, nominated specifications and field quality control process and procedures.
This is a site based role - Glenrowan, Victoria
You will
- Provide advice and support to the site project team on Quality Assurance matters, processes and procedures and maintain strong working relationships with all key stakeholders
- Provide doc control and QA services for the specific contract to ensure technical documents are effectively managed and monthly milestone payment can be obtained
- Close out corrective actions from client, sub-contractor or internal non-compliance / observation reports ensuring remedial actions are adequate and Objective Quality Evidence provided
- Review assigned technical documentation and ensure correct specifications and drawings etc are included/ referred to in Work Packs and Requisitions
- Coordinate and support Inspection and Test Plans as required by the site team
- Determine measurement capability appropriate to the activities and ensure that calibrated measuring devices are available and Maintain Tool calibration register
- Review and compile inspection records for compliance with agreed requirements and for inclusion with the MDR for timely handover to completion
- Effective coordination of Document control procedural activities. Including scanning of technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence
- Data entry into the standard registers to be accurate and up to date
- Maintain controlled Document Management System and activity set up in Field Management System
- Liaise effectively with staff, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring controlled copies of latest approved documents & drawings are distributed accordingly
- Other duties as requested by your manager from time to time
- Appropriate trade and technical qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in heavy industry/ construction environment
- Minimum 3 years in Quality Control / Doc Control role
- General AS9001 Knowledge
- Proficient skills in computers: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams etc.
- Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands
- Proactively seek to continuously improve performance, deliverables, and work efficiencies
