Quality Assurance and Training Analyst (Digital Commerce solutions)

Let us describe the challenge we offer

We are seeking a Quality Assurance and Training Analyst to join our Digital Commerce Solutions team, playing a strategic and critical role in developing and implementing state-of-the-art digital products for the North American market. As part of our digital product team, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to ensure quality and efficiency in technical documentation, testing, release management, and systems support. Your technical expertise will be invaluable in prioritizing and resolving technical issues and bugs.

At Digital Commerce Solutions we are responsible for the digital products that support the online Order-to-Delivery (OtD) customer journey. Our teams deliver digital products including Configurator, Available cars, and Pre-owned Storefronts, Fleet Order Management, Financial Services Integration, Checkout, Payment Handling, Order and Delivery Management, and Partner Remarketing Tools for Order and Inventory Management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining testing solutions, recommending test strategies, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. Additionally, they will be involved in user training and support, fostering a deep understanding of end-user needs and functionalities.

 

What you’ll do

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated testing solutions, encompassing regression, integration, user acceptance testing, and more, to improve efficiency, accuracy, and thoroughness in the testing process.
  • Participate in user story refinement with developers and analysts, fostering clear communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and execute application performance testing to ensure optimal product functionality.
  • Perform all aspects of quality assurance during the product development lifecycle, including test strategy creation, test case documentation, and test execution.
  • Attend weekly meetings to ensure alignment with cross-functional teams across the company, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
  • Respond to user queries promptly and accurately via phone, email, or chat, ensuring a positive user experience.
  • Create tickets and track bugs using JIRA/Confluence, communicating issues to engineers and product managers for timely resolution.
  • Develop a deep understanding of end users' day-to-day functionalities and how they leverage digital tools, fostering an empathetic and user-centric approach.
  • Build, develop, maintain, and lead digital product trainings for both internal Polestar team members and external Polestar Space staff.
  • Drive ongoing digital solution user adoption and ensure usage compliance for existing and upcoming features and functionalities.
  • Analyze and recommend training strategies, process improvements, and standards to optimize user experiences and meet organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with development teams to establish and maintain training materials related to digital product feature and functionality enhancements.

 

Who you are

  • 3+ years of experience in software testing and user training, preferably in an agile environment, with a focus on enhancing product quality and user understanding.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience with JIRA/Confluence and other testing and bug-tracking tools.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest and Enzyme for React and NUnit and xUnit for C# is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies, test plans, and testing strategies.
  • Familiarity with performance testing and test automation tools.
  • Experience in delivering training and presenting to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
