AddressWe are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator for a permanent, full-time position based in Sunshine Coast. Reporting to the QA Manager, the purpose of this role is to ensure compliance with internal and external standards and legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Quality Assurance Manager in training the production staff
- Facilitate/lead projects and quality incident investigations focused on root cause analysis
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality systems and processes
- Carry out internal audits, record and report findings
- Attend to all quality matters for internal customers
- Assist the business in maintain site HACCP Program, Quality Management System and Document Control System
What you'll need to succeed:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Food Science or a related discipline is ideal
- Previous experience within a food manufacturing organisation
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence others
- Excellent attention to detail, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience internal audits
- Comprehensive knowledge of HACCP and GMP
- Previous experience developing and maintaining a Quality Management System (QMS) program
