Our client has over 80 years of farming experience which has seen them grow from wholesome family owned values to innovative industry leading practices. Working in a family-friendly community with easy access to amenities such as schools, shopping centres, parks, and public transportation, It is also located near many natural attractions, including national parks, forests, and lakes, providing opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and fishing.
Our client has breeding and rearing farms, a hatchery, growing farms, and a processing facility located throughout central Victoria. They have plans to expand their processing capacity and upgrade their farming practices to ensure they can consistently deliver high-quality products to their valued customers.
About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to collect samples, monitor the production process, develop and oversee the CCPs (Critical Control Points) as well as the evaluation and refinement of customer specifications and fulfilling additional associated duties as needed.
Reporting directly to the Quality Assurance Manager some of your responsibilities will include:
Skilfully preserving and documenting all quality and food safety systems documentation with precision.
Propelling compliance and driving continuous improvement of quality systems and customer standards with regards to SQF/PrimeSafe/DAWE/WW/CFMSR/ALDI/ISO 9001/Animal Welfare/RSPCA/FREPA/HALAL where regulations become our allies.
Orchestrating the internal auditing program and actively participating in external audits.
Expertly handling customer and consumer complaints, transforming challenges into opportunities for growth.
Conducting Allergen reviews and validations, exploring the realms of safety and satisfaction.
Embracing the adventure of traceability and recall programs
Enthusiastically supporting the supplier approval and new product development program, where innovation takes centre stage.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
2 years of QA Experience from a similar industry (any manufacturing background)
A Bachelors degree or Masters in a relevant field such as Quality Assurance, product development, food science etc
Great written and verbal communication skills
The ability to work autonomously and or in a team situation.
