About the role

We have an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager to be part of our Forensic Evidence and Technical Services Command (FETSC) team. The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for the delivery of business compliance services and provides quality advice and support on audit and compliance functions, business planning and continuity, with a specific focus on strengthening quality performance.

This position coordinates and implements quality assurance programs and best practice, business plan development and continuity planning to improve performance and functions including operations, human resources and finance.

The FETSC provides forensic and technical support to all areas of the NSW Police Force. FETSC capitalises on technology, research and innovation to remain responsive to new and emerging crime types. FETSC facilities across NSW are accredited by NATA against ISO/IEC 17025 which provides international recognition of technical competence.

The position is located at Police Headquarters, Parramatta which is conveniently located near public transport, shopping centres and restaurants.

The Quality Assurance Coordinator will be required to travel to regional locations to support the implementation of FETSC internal and external audit schedule.

Applicants must hold a current driver’s licence with no traffic offences recorded on their driving history within the last six (6) months or NSW Police Force Bronze Certification.
