Our client who is a leader in large volume production within the poultry industry is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join their business based in Bendigo for Afternoon Shift. Your responsibilities involve ensuring the production environment is adhering to the expected quality standards and procedures set out in the quality manual. You will assist the production team with general testing by collecting swabs and products, collating the information and entering the data in to the system.
Based in Bendigo, Victoria.
Afternoon Shift 1:30pm starts.

About the role;
Our client who is a leader in large volume production within the poultry industry is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join their business based in Bendigo for Afternoon Shift. Your responsibilities involve ensuring the production environment is adhering to the expected quality standards and procedures set out in the quality manual. You will assist the production team with general testing by collecting swabs and products, collating the information and entering the data in to the system.
Job Duties;
Liaising with key internal stakeholders including the General Manager, Production Manager and supervisors.
Process creation, development, implementation and review of new and existing products and processes.
Maintaining and improvement of quality control assurance systems.
Managing deadlines and schedules to company and customer expectations.
Maintain all R&D and QA documents of products and plant equipment.
Extensive input and management of internal and external audit processes.
Supervision and instruction of production staff.
Conduct quality and product training of new production staff.
Skills / Attributes;
Certificate IV in Food Processing would be advantageous, as would demonstrated knowledge of Food Safety and food production processes and procedures.
Experience in a similar QA role would be preferred.
High Level communication skills - both written and verbal.
Excellent computer skills.
Experience in a FMCG Environment (desirable).
Innovation, research and product design skills.
Proven analytical and highly developed problem-solving skills.
