Hardwick's is looking for an experienced QA Manager to join their Team!
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role will see you leading the Quality function which will be focused on maintaining the Quality Management System ensuring the consistent delivery of quality products to customers and established and embedding of high quality practices through the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the development, monitoring and review of ongoing of quality strategies and systems ensuring compliance with regulations/legislative requirements and meeting customer requirements
- Represent Hardwicks & KGF in dealings with Government agencies and other bodies which have quality compliance as a primary interest
- Develop and maintain a culture of service excellence and measurable high levels of customer satisfaction, based on a sound set of service delivery standards and problem-solving methodology
- Lead development and monitoring of production processes and practices to ensure the required standards are being met.
- Completes and submits relevant compliance reporting to the necessary authorities/agencies pursuant to this role
- Ensure the optimal coordination and allocation of resources to deliver QA functions efficiently and effectively, within budget
ABOUT YOU
- You will have excellent analytical, problem solving, organisational and communication skills
- Have the ability to function autonomously, be proactive and adapt to constantly changing business demands
- Ability to communicate effectively, building rapport with a wide range of stakeholders for productive business outcomes
- Ability to recognise a critical matter and escalate to appropriate stakeholders where required.
- Knowledge of legislative and operational requirements of Federal, State and Local Government Acts and requirements regarding Food Safety
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant qualification in Quality and Food Industry Standards
- 5+ years experience in Quality systems management within a food industry environment
- Internal auditor qualifications
- Beneficial skills: Aus-Meat, HACCP, BRC, Halal & export experience
