About you:
You will develop, maintain and implement strategies and annual plans for quality assurance management and related activities and ensure quality assurance assessments are undertaken including analysis and reports on developments, controls, exposures, breaches and related action plans across Sunwater. This position will see you providing quality assurance support and advise to project, planning and operational groups within the business to enable the projects to be efficiently undertaken with due regards to quality considerations. You will develop and provide ongoing maintenance of a Terms of Reference (ToR) that articulates the scope of work connected with the Sunwater QMS, ensuring collaboration with stakeholders across the business. As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will lead quality audits and ongoing review of quality performance across Sunwater and develop corrective measures following finalisation of audits. In addition, you will:
Maintain the quality assurance accredited management systems and ongoing review and maintenance of Sunwater’s Quality Assurance Manual (QAM) and Quality Assurance Plans (QAP)
Guide the execution of the QMS Assurance program in alignment with risk and performance profile
Maintain ongoing review of technical procedures including checklists, inspections, and test plans (ITP’s), registers and assurance plans
Influence, coach and mentor QA professionals across various functions and levels of Sunwater to embed effective quality assurance leadership strategies, processes, and behaviour
You will bring:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager who has comprehensive knowledge of Quality Management systems including assurance principles, methods, standards, design, testing and audits. You will be able to build cross-functional working relationships and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels across the organisation. You will have experience in ensuring quality management systems support, compliment, and integrate with the ongoing development of Sunwater’s functional management systems. In addition, you will have:-
Tertiary qualifications in Quality Management and/or systems or relevant
10 + years’ experience in the development and implementation of an organisation wide quality assurance management system (ideally in an infrastructure, utilities, or resources industry)
Experience in management roles with focus on implementing strategy and managing risk and compliance, frameworks, procedures and practices in complex business situations
Proven ability to lead audits for quality systems (ISO9001, ISO55000, and ISO45001) and provide expert input taking into consideration operations, major infrastructure projects, business improvements and organisational learning
Capable of delivering quality assurance training at an enterprise level to influence outcomes
Project management experience (desirable)
