Our client is seeking a full-time Quality Assurance Manager to join their team located in Auburn NSW.
Tasks required include:
- Lead and manage the Company's Quality Assurance portfolio.
- Lead and manage the team in improving organisational effectiveness by developing and deploying solutions to enhance quality and maintain peak efficiency
- Facilitate implementation of change initiatives and drive continuous improvement in quality.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and more than 5 years of work experience.
- Responsible for ongoing management of the QMS to maintain current ISO certifications
- Managing the audit program (internal and external), CAPAs and continuous improvement activities
- Working closely with the operations and engineering teams to implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage and ensure that standards and safety regulations are observed
- Assist the company's Construction Manager to ensure that the investigation of all reportable incidents is conducted in accordance with procedures
- Address and discuss issues and proposed solutions with management
- Document quality assurance activities and create audit reports
- Make recommendations for improvement
- Create training materials and operating manuals
- Monitoring an entire production process and performing regular tests to identify potential problems and malfunctions in the early stages
- Inspecting raw materials and electrical systems to find defects and enhance durability
- Identifying the root causes of technical issues and performing corrective procedures or recommending fixes including preparing reports and documentations on errors and corrective measures
- Reviewing product blueprints and quality documentations
- Manage set and track assurance goals
- Coordinating with external Quality Assurance Auditors and Technicians to ensure legal compliance
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- High attention to detail to ensure proper manufacturing, installation, and operation of products

- Good verbal and written communication skills to communicate clearly and document critical aspects of the job
- Sincere work ethic for adhering to standards and managing potential harmful effects on timelines and budget, and the ability to operate under pressure
- Good mathematical skills and proficiency with computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Testing products and services to ensure that they meet quality standards
- Maintaining documentation of procedural changes
- Preparing performance reports for relevant stakeholders
- Collaborating with external clients and suppliers to ensure that they meet quality standards.
- Bachelor degree in relevant field
- At least five (5) years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification
- At least five (5) years of relevant experience in a Quality Control / Quality Assurance or similar role.
