The role:
To oversee compliance with the Boral Group (HSEQ) and Business level Quality Management System which includes identifying opportunities for improvement and providing business unit and site-based support to achieve quality compliance, external certification (where required), best practice and ultimately business performance improvement.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Manage the QLD Asphalt “Quality System” to maintain ISO accreditation
- Maintain OFSC accreditation
- Update and manage our HSEQ document content and library
- Investigate quality incidents with operations team
- Perform internal audits and support external audit requirements
- Support and manage the value Improvement projects and lean principles
- Experience in a quality management role with responsibilities related to quality systems
- Exposure to a diverse range of systems and their integration
- People skills and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to keep up to date with relevant Australian and Industry Standards
- Experience in developing and implementing business system strategies
- Develop effective working relationships with all people
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks
- High standard of customer focus
