We are currently seeking two Quality Inspectors to join our friendly, growing team in Eastern Creek, NSW. These positions are full-time permanent opportunities on afternoon shift for motivated and technically minded quality inspectors to join a friendly, fast paced QC team offering great conditions, comprehensive training, and career growth!
Reporting to the Product Quality Engineer, Consumer, the main objective of this pivotal role will be to identify quality issues for all new products into the market ensuring full compliance and working closely with QC and the WHS team to set up QC processes.
Key responsibilities include:
Conduct incoming goods quality inspections on a wide range of AC/DC power tools, garden tools and petrol tools, air tools, generators, floorcare products
Diagnose faults and complete the daily inspection report and review the result with the quality team based in Melbourne
Prioritise inspections to avoid causing delays in the warehouse
Ensure compliance with all TTI WHS and company procedures
Work closely with Quality team on quality improvement plan
Carry out spot checks or reworks when needed
Attend and contribute to all quality department team meetings
Keep the test area clean and maintain the testing equipment
Skills and Experience for this role:
Product knowledge preferred or a keen interest in power tools, garden tools, and home appliances etc
Strong hands-on skills to be able pull the product apart, conduct analysis and assemble it back;
Comfortable to use basic testing equipment/tools such as multi meter, power meter…etc;
Strong communication skills – both written and verbal;
Strong Mechanical and or technical aptitude
Computer literacy
Quick learner
Ability to demonstrate initiative;
Solid time management and attention to detail;
Ability to be a team player, as well as work autonomously;
