Based onsite 5 days a week in Sydney, we are seeking a full-time Quality Investigations Officer for an immediate start.The responsibilities and personal requirements of this role include:
Duties and Responsibilities
- Receiving and logging reports into the NCR database system, assessing each report for complete and accurate data, and resolving queries, errors or omissions with respective internal and external sources
- Assessing each report against defined criteria for risk and regulatory reporting requirements, and identifying and immediately escalating all notifiable events
- Investigation of reported product and system faults and failures with all internal functions and departments, and external parties including suppliers and customers
- Assessing and documenting causes of errors and confirmed nonconformances, and negotiating and securing appropriate corrective actions
- Coordinating and submitting change requests to implement and formalise actions where necessary
- Formulating and issuing formal response letters to external customers
- Timely trending of reported issues and selected performance indicators
- Assisting with internal and external audits as directed
Qualifications and Experience
- Post-secondary qualification in a technical, engineering or science related discipline
- At least 3 years experience performing similar duties in a QMS certified company within a similarly regulated industry
- Effective in use of standard office software and familiarity with ERP/CRM systems
- Understanding of the principles of QMS and Standards.
- Ability to review, interpret and investigate submitted reports and identify and obtain missing information
- Skills in management system auditing
