About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients of the Applied Medical Research Department. A vacancy exists in the above unit for a highly motivated Quality Manager for Clinical Trials with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive team.

About You :
The successful applicant(s) will be:
Expected to have responsibility for the oversight and maintenance of the monitoring, quality and patient safety at the investigator sites. Identifying risks to quality and compliance and developing mitigation plans to resolve any issues.
Effective communication with study investigators, coordinators, Director of Research and Clinical Governance Officers at St Vincent’s Health Network Sydney in relation to GCP compliance and risk management for local investigator and pharmaceutical or medical devices industry sponsored clinical research studies.
Serve as a central point of contact for and liaison to the research community to provide guidance to the initiation and ongoing conduct of clinical research. Provide managerial and leadership support to the clinical trials unit acting as an accessible resource in clinical trial design, conduct and management to Clinical Research Program staff and other clinical trialists on the campus.

Selection Criteria:
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia
2.Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency and Class C Drivers License or above
3. Demonstrated ability to work within the interdisciplinary team
4. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
5. Demonstrated computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system
6. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills
7. Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in their daily practice as a registered nurse
8. Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment
