AddressThe company is a well-known food & beverage manufacturer based in the Eastern suburbs of Perth. Due to supply demand this company are seeking a Quality Technician to join the team immediately.
This is a contract position for 6-12 months.
This site is open 24/7, therefore you must be ok to work day, afternoon and night shifts.
About the role:
Reporting to the Quality Specialist your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- QC checks along the manufacturing line.
- Sample collection for internal and external testing (swabbing, culturing, labelling etc.)
- Raw material, in process and finished product assessment (microbiological and chemical testing).
- Use of chemistry techniques (titrations, pH, dilutions, HPLC etc.) as well as water testing (turbidity, conductivity etc.).
- Laboratory housekeeping.
You will be a quality-focused individual with excellent attention to detail, have good communication skills and have the ability to work in fast-paced environment.
As the successful candidate you will have completed a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry, Food Science) or a related discipline.
