About You:
As a curious human, you have a passion for solving complex problems with your advanced mathematical capabilities. Your flair for presenting data in a convincing and easy to understand format assists you in comfortably communicating your work with a broad range of stakeholders. Agile and resilient, you are able to quickly adapt to shifting priorities.
With a degree in a relevant discipline ideally coupled with several years experience working in a similar role and advance experience with Excel and exposure to other programs (Matlab, SQL, Python, R).
About the role:
Working in the Commercial Team your goal is to maximise revenue for Hydro Tasmania.
You will support portfolio optimisation by providing technical and analytical support to our forecasting activities, undertaking quantitative market analysis, and building generation models. You'll work collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders across our operations, finance, commercial and IT teams.
