The Role
Due to recent growth two exciting opportunities have come up for a quantity surveyor to come on board. The role will require a high level of technical support, contributions to business development initiatives and involvement in the governance, systems and processes at the firm. The successful candidate will use their proven methods and techniques to accurately measure, reduce and control cost during the pre-contract and post-contract stages of a project.
Requirements
- Must have an understanding of the requirements to maintain company profitability.
- Be able to communicate both verbally and in written form.
- Must be able to fill out all paperwork and submit it timelessly.
- Requesting, saving, and following up tenders
- Accurately recording list of active suppliers and contractors we use
- Recording a library of prices we pay suppliers and contractors nationwide
- Assisting management in pricing jobs once tender complete
- Keeping accurate records of contractor and supplier rates
- Assisting with invoice sign-offs at end of month
- Complete back costings on completed jobs
- Implementation of better systems and processes relating to job pricing
