We have an opportunity for a Quarry Operator to join our team at MAslin Beach in South Australia. This role will be reporting to the Quarry Manager and is a Permanent Full-time role, working Monday to Friday with ample opportunity for overtime and Saturday work.
We are seeking applicants who have a passion for safety and value strong work ethic, as well as be willing and able to work a varied role in Crushing Plant Operations and General Maintenance duties.
In your new role with us, you will:
- Operating Mobile Equipment including Dump Trucks, Front End Loaders and Excavators
- Operating the crushing and screening plant
- General fixed plant maintenance and inspections
- During busy periods we expect all employees to pitch in and perform any/all quarry tasks where needed
This role is a great fit for you if you have:
- A HR licence (essential)
- Scraper operator ticket (desirable)
- Zero Harm and Safety Leadership
- Strict adherence to fixed and mobile plant pre-start & maintenance procedures
- Ability to work in a small team and unsupervised
- Professional work ethic with a "can do" attitude

All successful applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screening. Random drug and alcohol tests are conducted on all Hanson premises.
