GenesisCare has an exciting opportunity for a Radiation Therapist to join our established team at our clinic located within the Macquarie University Hospital.
Our clinic offers access to cancer care services including radiation therapy and allied health support. Our team is dedicated to offering personalised treatments delivered in a multidisciplinary care environment.
On offer is a full-time role, on a 12-month maximum term contract. Excellent remuneration available, annual salary of up to $110,576 + superannuation (dependant on experience).
More specifically you will:
- Personally undertake radiation therapy planning and treatment responsibilities and associated duties.
- Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the Centre and across the practice.
- Responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.
- Ensure that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure established patient care standards are maintained.
- Liaise with members of the health care team in the planning and delivery of patient services.
- Ensure patients are provided with relevant material and information relating to radiation therapy.
- Be competent in Radiation Therapy, CT & treatment planning.
We're looking for someone who has:
- Demonstrated technical competence in all areas of radiotherapy (treatment and planning), including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques.
- Ability to demonstrate the ability to work in an effective team environment.
- Strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services.
- Registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA.
- Current radiation licence with the EPA
- Demonstrated commitment to high quality patient care.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement.
- Able to develop and maintain strong and cooperative working relationships
- Flexibility to work across multiple sites.
