Queensland Vascular Diagnostics is seeking a part time receptionist to work at our Chermside office 4 day's a fortnight with the ability to cover sick leave and holiday leave. Medical typing experience would be a benefit.
We are a small but busy practice with our main office at Chermside and 4 offsite clinics
Duties include
- Welcoming patients, collecting and entering personal details
- Scheduling appointments
- Answering telephone calls and responding to enquiries
- Entering and processing patient billing ( Outpatients and Inpatients)
- Maintaining and managing patient information
- Setting up and sending out reports
About you
To be a great fit for this position, it would be desirable if you have the following. Training can also be provided for a suitable applicant:
- Previous experience in a similar administrative position, with demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a professional phone manner
- Strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines as required
- Ability to work in a busy practice environment and maintain confidentiality
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as well as autonomously where required
- Strong computer and administrative skills
- Medical Typing experience desirable
