An opportunity has become available for someone with exceptional customer service skills to join our team as the Receptionist/ Administration Assistant at our Pioneer Village Residential Aged Care Facility.
Pioneer Village, operated by the Eyre Peninsula Old Folks Home Inc, is located in picturesque Port Lincoln with a wonderful, relaxed country lifestyle. We are a community based 74-bed residential aged care facility situated at the southern tip of Eyre Peninsula in Port Lincoln, South Australia. As a primary provider of residential care and dementia services for the aged of the Southern Eyre Peninsula, we provide quality care and services to our clients in a manner that maintains and respects their individuality and dignity. Role
Be the front line for our facility, in person, by telephone and online. You will be greeting and assisting residents and visitors; and helping team members deliver quality service.
The successful applicant will possess exceptional customer service skills and the ability to provide effective and efficient administrative support within an age care facility setting.

The successful applicant will:
- Possess compassionate, caring, and supportive nature
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills across the organisation
- Possess efficient and organised administrative skills and sound experience
- Understanding of confidentiality and handling private information
- Perform Ad Hoc duties and responsibilities when required
- Proficiency in computer-based systems and databases, Outlook, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Have the ability liaise effectively with residents, resident’s families and work colleagues.
- Extremely reliable and mature outlook to deal with a diverse range of responsibilities.
- Must have 2022 Influenza and mandated COVID vaccinations.
- Must have (or willing to obtain) a National Police Clearance for aged care.
