Amazing career opportunity to work in a new, elegant Plastic Surgery practice in Gosford, offering a wide range of reconstructive and aesthetic services.
The position is for either 2 or 3 days/ week, but Wednesday must be one of the days that need to be covered (8am-6pm). The other days are flexible.
We are seeking a motivated Receptionist/ Medical Secretary to join our administration team on a permanent part-time basis. The hourly rate is dependent on the applicant’s experience.
Training will be provided to support you in your role and better understand our range of treatments. We want you to feel comfortable being the first point of contact for our clients and take pride in this exciting role.
The company uses Gentu for patient management.

Required attributes, experience and responsibilities:
- Experience in a similar role, with a broad understanding of the day-to-day running of a surgical practice.
- Excellent communication skills- dealing with enquiries over the phone, via email and in person. Excellent spelling and good knowledge of grammar.
- Making client appointments and scheduling surgery efficiently by liaising with hospitals and relevant stakeholders.
- Strong planning and management skills, and attention to detail.
- Financial experience- billing, quoting, discussing costs with patients, taking payments, ordering medical supplies. Operate all aspects of EFTPOS machine
- Proficient in office software such as Microsoft Office
- Keeping the office tidy and supervising cleaners
