Our Accounting firm, located in Caboolture South is seeking a professionally presented and well-spoken Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to assist our team of Accountants. This is a busy role and requires an experienced Administrator who has worked in similar office administration and/or reception roles.
Please note this position is Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm with the possibility of some overtime.
Responsibilities:
- Busy front desk and reception duties - Meeting and greeting clients, redirecting phone calls and making appointments.
- Managing and updating client files, database information and debtors.
- Supporting the accounting team as required
- Collation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns via mail, email and client portal.
- Liaising with the ATO and ASIC duties.
- General administration support - Banking, mailing, filing, copying, collating, binding, etc.
- Required to pick up and drop off to the post office
- Facilities management - Stationery and printing orders.
- General tea and tidy duties - Making tea and coffee, tidying kitchen area.
Requisite and Experience
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Proven administration experience. (Experience within an Accounting firm is favorable but not necessary.
- Prior experience with HandiSoft Software is beneficial, but not essential.
