Circonomy began in 2013 to raise money for a cause. With over 55,000 Charities and NFPs in Australia, the idea began to solve donor fatigue. Our founder Yas Grigaliunas asked herself – “how do I raise money without asking people for money?”. You are customer-obsessed, which will translate into cultivating and nurturing long term relationships with business and personal customers from our circular outlets in Brisbane and Melbourne.
Reporting to the Recommerce Manager – Every Channel, you'll be at the forefront of our efforts to provide affordable, high-quality, and sustainable products to our customers while being a positive ambassador for the mission and impact we are creating through the work we do.
You’ll need to be able to execute sales strategy as you’ll lead our outlet sales, as well as taking care of sales direct to our B2B partners. Ultimately, you will be involved in finding, welcoming and supporting customers, building relationships that result in Circonomy being their first choice every time.
Each day you’ll be prepping for the next, ensuring that our warehouse team have products ready for the floor, and the sales team is set up for success on the daily. You’ll be making sure the outlet reflects our standards, brand promises and sets us up to deliver a “wow” customer experience. You’ll be responsible for actively walking the floor and encouraging, inspiring, and supporting the team daily.
As a champion of circularity, you'll take ownership for creating relationships with our customers through multiple channels, finding circular solutions to meet their needs. Through the sale of recommerced products, rehoming goods to community partners and working within the community – it is all critical to achieving our goals.
Who you are
You are a passionate and experienced sales leader currently or recently working in a retail environment. You have reached a point where you want to have impact through the work you do, and perhaps are in a role where you have reached a ceiling in progression, motivated to find the next step in your career.
You have led initiatives or transformations in building long-term relationships with customers and community. You work methodically when faced with multiple priorities and tasks and are known as someone who demonstrates leadership qualities that inspire positive action from those around you.
You are a naturally curious mind and a decisive problem solver, always seeking ways to do things better. A great environment for you is one where no two days are the same, allowing you to unleash your creativity and entrepreneurial spirit to solve everyday challenges.
You have had experience with a safety & well-being first mindset, that values high performance to achieve a great employee and customer experience.
