The department is looking to fill a role to provide high quality administration and records management support to the team. This position is responsible for general administration duties such as email management, mail distribution (within the team) and maintaining the filing system. This role has multiple positions available, and you will be working in a large and positive team.
Records Officer
- Pay Rate: $33 - $36 p/h + Super (based on experience)
- Fulltime Hours: Fulltime Hours M - F
- Duration: 2 Month Contract (possibility of extension)

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Administration: Receive and open incoming mail and facsimiles.
- Undertake processing, scanning and recording of incoming/outgoing and internal correspondence.
- Process outgoing mail and facsimiles.
- Record postal remittances.
- Collect and distribute correspondence to other business units.
- Create files in accordance with the regulations of the State Records Office and Council policies and procedures.
- Maintain Administration and Property filing.
- Assist in the maintenance of Administration and Property Files. Assist in the maintenance of Tender and Contract Files.
- Assist in the Tender opening process.
- Provide assistance to the Records Department. Provide assistance to other staff member on record management procedures.
- Customer Service Foster, advocate and implement the City's Customer Service Charter.
- Would be ideal if you have previous experience with CRMs (Authority in particular)
