The Role
We are seeking an HR / Recruitment Administrator for a role in our Perth offices located in Subiaco.
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager this role will be part of a wider national HR team providing support, assistance, and advice to Managers across Australia on all matters pertaining to Human Resources and Recruitment.
In this role you will primarily support the People Team in recruitment, onboarding and systems administration, however, will additionally provide support to the rest of the team as required.
With our company specialising in project works across mining, construction and engineering, this is a great opportunity to gain exposure to various disciplines while getting extensive training and development by working in a supportive and collaborative national team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high quality Administration support to the HR Team
Manage and maintain employee records through the HR Information System
End to end recruitment of blue-collar and white collar personnel including advertising, screening of resumes, scheduling and conducting interviews and coordinating pre-employment checks
Coordinating the on boarding process including, preparing letters of offer; mobilisation of employees to site; coordinate inductions process
Provide support on HR projects as required.
The successful applicant will ideally have:
Exceptional administrative and organisational skills including the ability to complete several tasks concurrently, adapt quickly to changing priorities, maintain high levels of attention to detail and meet deadlines.
Previous experience working in a similar role including recruitment experience would be advantageous
A positive attitude towards safety, training & environment
Strong Interpersonal/verbal communication skills – establish relationships and communicates effectively with the full range of people involved on and off-site.
Professional standards and an appreciation for confidentiality.
Attention to detail with a strong focus on compliance/QA
Intermediate Microsoft Word & Excel processing skills.
