An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced Administration Coordinator/Manager to join our Medical Workforce Unit.

Details of Department

The Medical Workforce Unit (MWU) is a central specialised service providing strategic oversight and governance, as well as operational support for all matters pertaining to the medical workforce including workforce planning, recruitment and credentialing, employment and on-boarding, and the management and rostering of medical staff.

Details of position

  • Position Title: Recruitment and Credentialing Coordinator
  • Hours per week: 40 hours with monthly Accrued Day Off (ADO)
  • Employment Status: Permanent Full-time
  • Additional Notes: The classification for this position will be a HS3 ($74,448 base salary per annum)

The Recruitment and Credentialing Coordinator will be responsible for the administrative management and coordination of all matters relating to Senior Medical staff appointments, specifically, the recruitment, interview, and credentialing functions, as well as other organisational support and systems administration roles.

To be successful for this role you must have:

  • Extensive administrative experience in a large and complex environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both in written and verbal
  • Excellent organisational ability with attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
  • High level computer skills

Ideally, you should also have:

  • A sound understanding of information technology including systems and applications relevant to recruitment.
  • A tertiary qualification or further education
