This is an exciting new role to implement the resourcing strategy for AlburyCity’s Children’s Services. The Resourcing Coordinator will oversee resourcing strategies including staffing, rostering, process review, and assist with reports and the presentation of information.

This role offers an attractive balance between Human Resources and Early Childhood, with the appeal of working in local government. If you have experience or an interest in either industry, or better still – BOTH – then this is the job for you!

In your new role you will:
Coordinate centralised resourcing for AlburyCity Children’s Services
Provide leadership and direction to Service Coordinators to guide performance management and team member development and motivation
Review and improve attraction and retention strategies, to frame AlburyCity as the local employer of choice for the Early Childhood sector
Oversee the rosters of Early Childhood Educators and support staff with consideration for compliance, ethical conduct and internal policies

What sets you apart:
You have managed recruitment and onboarding processes and know how to attract, select, and retain the right people
Continuous improvement mindset, able to think outside the square
Excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate, influence and grow relationships with internal / external stakeholders
Although not essential, experience in the Early Childhood Education and Care industry would be advantageous
Tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood Education and/or Human Resources or related fields would be highly regarded

Working rights: You will need full Australian working rights and a NSW Working with Children Check to be considered for this position. You will undergo a police check and additional assessments may apply.
Why: This is a new role for our organisation, and an opportunity for you to make it your own.
When: Initially being offered on a full-time basis for a 12-month contract. We are ready for you to commence immediately but willing to negotiate for the right candidate
Where: This position is located at the AlburyCity Administration Building on Kiewa St, Albury. Occasional visits to other sites may be required.
Hours: 35-hour week between Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm, on a 9-day fortnight
Remuneration: $75,788 - $83,367 + Super. And a range of other benefits
