The Role: We're looking for a dedicated and driven recruitment consultant to join our small but hardworking team at our Brisbane office. The role will involve managing the end-to-end recruitment process from sourcing and selecting candidates to offer stage and beyond. You'll be responsible for sourcing and interviewing candidates, negotiating salary packages and presenting suitable candidates to clients. Your goal is to build mutually beneficial relationships with clients and candidates, and work as part of a passionate team to maximise our commercial performance.
Objectives: • To develop business relationships with new and existing clients to maximise sales opportunities • To work with colleagues across all of our offices to maximise the number of filled jobs for both existing and new clients • To provide a quality service to all clients, consultants and colleagues • To meet weekly and monthly performance criteria
Responsibilities: • To develop new clients through a range of sales related activities • To deploy consultants into suitable roles • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with new and existing clients to secure on going and additional business • To negotiate fee pay and charge rates • To complete the agreed number of client calls per week • To produce weekly performance reports • To ensure all client records and purchase orders are up to date • To prepare shortlists for job vacancies • To review consultants records to ensure only suitable candidates for the role are submitted • To check with technical representatives on any candidates where their suitability is uncertain • To strive to achieve and then exceed your predefined sales targets • To contribute fully to the goals of the business • To assist other colleagues with development of wider services and products • To offer emergency contact cover on a rota basis
About you: • You will have a minimum of 4 years' experience of working within a sales or recruitment environment • A background in the energy and/or technology sector would be advantageous but not essential • You'll have excellent communication skills, with a fantastic telephone manner and the outstanding ability to build rapport with clients • You will be confident in using IT systems with experience in database management • You will be comfortable working in a fast paced environment and possess excellent time management, negotiation and prioritisation skills • You will thrive on providing amazing customer service in a target driven environment and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail • You'll display an appreciation of health and safety practices and company standards
