About the role
There is one permanent, full-time position and one fixed term 6-month position currently available.
The positions are working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm. Located at the Nowra Administration Building.
Duties
Reporting directly to the Lead - Human Resources, the focus of this position is to:
- Administer the recruitment system and assist the HR team to deliver an efficient recruitment and selection process for Council
- In conjunction with the Lead – Human Resources and Human Resource Business Partners, ensure recruitment and selection is conducted in line with the Recruitment & Selection Policy
- Effectively coordinate the administrative recruitment workflows to enhance the efficiency of the recruitment process
Skills & Experience
In order to be successful in the position, you will be/ possess:
- Certificate IV in Human Resources or equivalent qualification or relevant work experience
- Demonstrated administration or office support experience in a fast paced, high volume work environment
- Experience running end to end recruitment processes preferred but not essential
- Experience working with online recruitment candidate management and selection systems, or other demonstrated systems experience
- Experience providing excellent customer service
- Understanding of Equal Employment Opportunity and other relevant legislation
- Understanding of the importance of confidentiality
