About the opportunities:
We're in the midst of growing and enhancing our existing Recruitment Team - so it's a really exciting time to join us! We have permanent opportunities available for Recruitment Officers to help us source and secure top talent, solidify strong relationships with hiring managers, improve candidate experience, and implement and embed the provision of timely and quality recruitment services and outcomes across our diverse local health district.
Our Recruitment Unit consists of a number of Recruitment portfolios, aligned to HR teams and covering Greater Metropolitan, Rural and Regional, and Corporate facilities, sites and services. Within each portfolio, Recruitment Officers will report into and work closely with Senior Recruitment Officers, as well as interacting with a range of other key stakeholders in order to facilitate and drive quality, timely recruitment outcomes and provide exceptional customer service to hiring managers and candidates across an end to end recruitment process.
Our Recruitment Officers are responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of an end to end recruitment function for HNE Health. You'll undertake a range of sourcing/talent acquisition and onboarding tasks such as reviewing requests to recruit, uploading position descriptions, writing and posting ads, sharing candidates, scheduling interviews, creating social media content, resourcing and liaising with candidates, creating marketing resources, verifying candidate data, submitting recommendation reports, processing employment checks, creating letters of offer, reporting, auditing, and other related tasks.
You may find yourself specialising in sourcing, or onboarding, or learning the end to end recruitment process! As well as our core business as usual recruitment activities, you may be involved in annual graduate campaigns and traineeship recruitment, junior medical recruitment, workforce surge recruitment, rural and regional campaigns, and a range of other recruitment projects and work. Over time, you may look to progress and aim to work towards applying for our Senior Recruitment Officer roles.
Our Recruitment Officers have varied backgrounds and experience, however our current opportunities are ideally suited to:
- Soon to be or recent tertiary graduates in fields such as Business, Management, Human Resources, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, and related;
- Candidates looking to build on existing recruitment experience (both agency and internal) particularly in talent acquisition/sourcing/strategy, projects, high volume recruitment and onboarding (within health industry or those looking to learn a new industry);
- Candidates with a solid track record in customer service or administration roles with a desire to learn Recruitment, who may also be studying a relevant qualification (e.g. Certificate or Diploma in HR);
- Candidates with experience working in clinical environments in relevant administrative roles such as Clinical Support Officers, Rostering Support/Coordination, Administration Officers etc. looking for a new role in health.
In particular, candidates who demonstrate a love of Recruitment and the health industry (or keen interest to learn same), have an aptitude for marketing/social media/talent sourcing/candidate re-sourcing, who love talking to people in order to provide outstanding customer service and creative recruitment solutions that align with relevant policy, procedures and legislation - will stand out!
