Iron Mine Contracting (IMC) was formed to provide Civil, Mining, Crushing and Screening and Indigenous partnering opportunities to the West Australian market.
IMC and its associated indigenous Joint Venture partners have been delivering projects to Tier 1 Resource clients including Rio Tinto, Woodside Petroleum, Northern Star Resources FMG, Roy Hill, Novo Resources, Liontown Resources, Saracen Minerals and Newcrest Mining amongst others since 2013.
With extensive experience working for clients in remote areas and a deep body of knowledge gained from its diverse multidisciplinary team, IMC understands the specific challenges that constructing and delivering for its Western Australian clients presents.
An opportunity is available for an experienced Recruitment Officer to commence within our Human Resources Department on a permanent full-time basis. Based at our corporate head office located in Bayswater, the Recruitment Officer is a valued member of a cohesive broader team, being integral to supporting our portfolio of mining and civil projects across the business.
In this fast paced role and reporting to the Recruitment Superintendent, the Recruitment Officer delivers efficient and effective end to end recruitment services consisting of advertising, sourcing, selection and pre-employment assessments to onboarding. This also includes providing recruitment advice and selection recommendations for managers ensuring compliance to policies, Award and Enterprise Agreement conditions.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Undertake the delivery of end-to-end recruitment services including job descriptions, advertising and sourcing, shortlisting, candidate selection process, any pre-employment assessments, and tasks (when applicable), interviews, medical checks, and criminal checks, and subsequently offers of employment.
Undertake onboarding activities and completion of relevant employee documentation.
Provide recruitment advice and support to managers on recruitment policies and procedures to ensure hiring of the most suitable. candidate/s can effectively occur.
Ensure selection recommendations are compliant to policies, Award and Enterprise Agreement conditions, and that correct remuneration is applied based on the selection requirements.
About you:
Industry experience in recruitment practices.
Demonstrated understanding of human resource practices and legislation.
Proven professionalism and integrity in dealing with sensitive information.
Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records/registers.
Sound computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and database systems.
Current driver’s licence
Ability to complete a pre-employment medical including drug screen
Provide a current police clearance
