About the Role
They are currently seeking a highly experienced Recruitment Officer to join their growing team in Parramatta with some flexibility to work remotely from home 2 days per week. This is an estimated 6week temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.
Working within the Estate Management Business Unit, you will be responsible for contributing to the delivery of volume/bulk recruitment activities across the Department.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the wider People and Culture team and Hiring Managers within your portfolio to understand stakeholder needs
- Provide advice and support to managers on fit for purpose talent acquisition strategies
- Manage comprehensive end to end recruitment process including advertising, psychometric assessments and reference checks
- Undertake bulk recruitment activities and assist with coordination and management of various recruitment campaigns
- Schedule and coordinate interview panellists, meeting rooms and candidates for interviews
- Generating letters of offer and employment contracts
- Manage the recruitment onboarding process of new employees
- Updating and maintaining employee files and records
- Records and database management ensuring high accuracy, integrity and confidentiality
- Provide general support for program and project management initiatives
- Ensure compliance with PSC recruitment rules
About You
- Impeccable communication skills both verbal and written
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to community with stakeholders across all levels
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- Solid analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite
- Motivated and proactive with an eagerness to learn
- Agile and adaptable within a fast paced high volume environment
Requirements
- Demonstrated Recruitment or Talent Acquisition experience
- Previous experience within Public Sector or a complex environment highly advantageous
- Reliable internet access
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
