NextGen Jobs is looking for candidates to work for a Government Department in Melbourne's CBD. We are looking to give individuals the opportunity to gain a qualification in Business, all while working and earning money.

What qualification?

A Certificate III in Business to be precise! Throughout your 12 months as a NextGen trainee you will complete online modules along with learning on-the-job. Your new employer will give you dedicated time to complete your studies while you’re at work – no TAFE, no homework!

A day in the life of a Business Trainee

  • General administrative duties: taking phone calls, responding to emails, calendar management and stationery orders to name a few
  • Coordinate meetings, take bookings and organising catering
  • Handling ingoing and outgoing mail
  • Liaising with stakeholders both internally and externally providing amazing customer service

About you

  • Previous experience in a customer service or people-facing role is advantageous, but not essential
  • Great communication and organisational skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team
  • Positive attitude with eagerness to learn and follow instruction
