The Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) plays a vital role connecting people and places in South Australia by managing roads, marine and public transport networks state-wide, delivers citizen services and builds and maintains the State-owned infrastructure that enables the delivery of essential and important government services to our community. Our Redeployment Consultants place the highest value on collaboration and customer service in achieving outcomes, ensuring each individual is treated with respect and care and having innovative approaches to reskilling and career development that inspire employees and assist them into contract and ongoing roles.

Duties
The Redeployment Consultant is responsible for the provision of administration and advice regarding issues associated with retraining, redeployment and redundancy. The role will focus on providing employees administrative and other support to manage the retraining programs conducted by DIT and any temporary workplace assignments which may arise. This role will work with key internal and external stakeholders, especially The Office of the Commissioner for Public Sector Employment (OCPSE) in their case management services role supporting unassigned and excess employees.

The incumbent will have a strong focus on customer service and will work with internal and external stakeholders to manage arrangements for affected employees in accordance with the framework of the relevant redeployment, retraining and redundancy (RRR) provisions contained within the applicable enterprise agreement.

Requirements
No formal qualifications or licenses are required.

Special Conditions
The successful candidate will be required to provide a National Police Check prior to employment with the Department. Additional employment checks may be required relevant to the role being undertaken as outlined in the role statement; and

Work outside normal hours and inter/intrastate travel necessitating overnight absences may be required.

Tenure of Vacancy
Temporary appointment up to 12 months.

ASO4 - $74,315 to $77,901 per annum
