We are currently seeking a Regional Asset & Project Manager - Facilities to join our Total Asset Management (TAM) team out of our Darwin Honeywell office, NT.

This can also be based onsite at the Darwin Correctional Precinct.

Reporting to the Portfolio Manager the primary purpose of this is to be responsible for the successful delivery of Project outcomes across the TAM portfolio in NT and WA.  This requires preparing, planning, executing, and controlling all aspects of the project either directly or through delegation with the project team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain overall responsibility for the delivery of complex projects to the required quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Ensures delivery of projects on time, within scope with no negative deviation
  • Manage the contractual requirements of the project to ensure Honeywell’s exposure is minimized and controlled through timely responses and internal escalation.
  • Track the projects progress and prepare monthly progress claims and Project reports for submission to the client.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities and convert these into variations or new orders in conjunction with local account managers and sales staff.
  • Perform forecasting and monitor utilization of your project team resources.
  • Ensure subcontractors are on a Health & Safety Plan and that it is reviewed and updated on a regular basis.

Key Experience & Capabilities:

  • BSc in Eng or equivalent technical or management experience is preferred.
  • Direct Project Management history of +$3M projects
  • Thorough knowledge of leading and developing a projects field operation and financial management
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others.
  • Proven experience in project management including budget ownership/management, resource allocation, scheduling, forecasting, and planning.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capacity to deliver against multiple objectives.
  • Project Management Qualifications desirable
