- Provide for incident and injury free delivery of maintenance services to the West Terminals by adhering and implementing the HSSE management plan.
- Contribute to EI&C engineering design effort (i.e. design calculations, drawings, specifications, technical review and control systems design) cost effectively and fit for purpose for the project and business requirements.
- Contribute to the preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance program and strategies
- Support the E&I maintenance program at regional sites through coordination with Regional Electrical and Controls Engineer, Terminal Managers, Site Maintenance Supervisors and UGL and Subcontractor teams.
- Ensure all break-down maintenance is conducted within contract set time limits and to safety and quality standards.
- Ensure the maintenance management system is maintained and continuously improved.
- Ensure documentation of appropriate standard is provided and update all relevant Engineering, Operational and Maintenance databases on project completion.
- Establish and maintain strong and effective working relationships with other members of the specialist and regional teams both in project delivery and asset management.
- Support the Asset Management, Capital Projects and construction activities as required.
- Tertiary Engineering qualification – mandatory.
- Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Area (Classification and Design) certification – AS/NZS60079 – preferred.
- 7+ years’ industry experience in engineering, maintenance and/or project implementation and commissioning for major resources sites within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Chemical industries.
- Experience in design, implementation, construction and commissioning of LV and Controls equipment and systems.
- Knowledge and exposure to PLC, SCADA, tank inventory/instrumentation and process control network systems.
- Experience with / exposure to RSLogix, Studio 5000, GX Developer and Citect SCADA.
- Conversant with configuration of instrumentation and control systems using a variety of communication protocols such as Modbus and Ethernet/IP.
- Knowledge of Australian codes and standards, good engineering practice and the applicable statutory requirements with respect to Electrical systems in hazardous environments and Instrumentation systems.
- Ability to conduct & review Electrical Instrumentation & Controls Engineering Design.
- Excellent general computer literacy skills as well as strong specialist knowledge of discipline-based applications software.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong and effective working relationships with other members of the specialist and regional teams in Project Delivery, Asset Management and Terminal Operations.
