This newly created role for a Regional Manager will oversee all franchises across VIC and TAS.
Your new role
The Regional Manager will play a critical role in the organisation's vision to become the number one builder in the country by partnering and collaborating with franchise owners to deliver profitable franchises, improve customer experience, manage risk, lead and advocate for the VIC/TAS network.
- Develop and lead the regional business plan.
- Lead the franchise network to ensure collaboration with and between franchisees, working with the Franchise Operations team to organise opportunities to bring together the group and build a supportive performance culture.
- Lead the development and execution of Franchise Business Plans - working with each individual franchise partner on their short and long term goals.
- Conduct business reviews with each franchise.
○ Ensure the financial performance and revenue targets of the franchisees is achieved.
○ Customer satisfaction excellence.
○ Operational & compliance performance.
○ Work on roadblocks / challenges and support required to help achieve desired goals. - Monthly review of franchise performance in all above areas.
- Visit franchises to review above and keep business plan on track.
- Mentor Franchise Owners in strategies to improve their businesses, utilising Franchisor resources effectively. Provide reactive consultative and emotional support to Franchise Owners as needed.
- Address performance issues with franchisees.
- Maintain an awareness of competitive activity and competitor profiles.
- Ensure franchisor systems/ processes/ policies are deployed & practiced within the franchisee business
- Monitor and liaise with franchise partners to ensure they are meeting the obligations of their franchise agreements.
- Assisting the Business Development Manager in the evaluation and approval of franchise prospects as appropriate.
- Advocacy for franchisees as required through a productive relationship with insurer(s).
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 5 years experience working with small businesses to achieve growth, customer and risk outcomes.
- Experience in the home building / construction sector would be a significant advantage.
- Franchise network leadership experience.
- A track record of delivering business planning and performance management.
- Coaching and influencing skills, along with exceptional communication skills and the ability to build quality long-term relationships.
- Strong commercial acumen, a performance orientation and strategic-thinking capacity.
- Good time management, admin & organisational skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously & unsupervised.
- Tertiary qualified with focus on commercial, property, or construction.
