An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Physiotherapy Leader as a Regional Manager within our growing Residential Care Services leadership team. This opportunity is well suited for those looking to make a positive impact on their team members and the quality of life of the clients they serve. This opportunity is for a 12-month contract; however, there may be opportunities to extend into an ongoing role.
We are seeking a candidate with experience working in the Aged Care sector or with relevant experience. As we enter an exciting period of growth and change across the aged care sector, we are looking for those who embrace this change and want to help shape the growth and development of our service.
Here at UPG, you will find a group of physiotherapists passionate about delivering exceptional care across multiple healthcare settings. Broadly, our group works in aged care facilities and the community across VIC, NSW, QLD & TAS, improving the quality of life for thousands of aged care clients. In addition we have a Flagship Studio where we provide Pilates, Yoga and Private Physiotherapy service, along with sports physiotherapy services to local clubs. As a member of the UPG team, you will have an incredible opportunity to work across a variety of settings in addition to your Residential Care caseload.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Supporting and liaising with your portfolio of Aged Care providers, providing exceptional Physiotherapy services to their staff and residents
Supporting and leading your team through a supportive and collaborative approach, delivering positive clinical outcomes, building team capability and confidence
Identifying and supporting the learning needs of your team
Complete regular service/quality audits and reporting, identifying continuous improvement opportunities and projects
Liaising with the broader clinical team and facility management to deliver tailored care plans and assist clients to achieve their goals
Leading your team by example, setting high standards of communication with clients
Providing coaching and mentoring for your team to support their learning and development
Overseeing timetables/utility rates / optimising efficiency of staff schedules
Providing clinical support and guidance for the team with staff absences and back-fill requirements

Qualifications and Skills
A Bachelor of Physiotherapy OR an equivalent internationally (and APA) recognised qualification
AHPRA Registration (General Registration)
Well-developed clinical skills to perform comprehensive Assessments, Treatment, and Risk Assessments and experience with training/teaching
Appropriate working visas - no visa restrictions
A National Police Certificate
NDIS Check/Working with Children Check
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
