Job Summary

As a Regional Procurement Specialist you will be responsible for the support and development of Procurement strategies in Equinix's white space environment for products and services across APAC region.

Responsibilities

Support the region and global Procurement Category Managers in the delivery of the category strategy, including sourcing, negotiations, contracts, catalogues, supplier reviews, savings and reporting

Partner and co-ordinate with IBX Operations and Sales Engineering teams to ensure accurate gathering of requirements for sourcing events, technical specifications and operational requirements

Skills

Experience with supplier negotiations, contract writing, sourcing and RFx processes.

Ensure compliance to policies, regulations and laws

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and demonstrate integrity and reliability

Track progress, report and identify gaps, develop and present plans to address

Possess the ability to deal effectively with pressure, multiple tasks, deadlines and rapidly changing priorities

Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Qualifications

3+ years of Procurement experience

Bachelor's degree preferred

Diploma in CIPS (or above) preferred
