About the Role:
Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal performance of our mining, refining and smelting assets in Australia?
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the position of Regional Reliability Excellence Manager. This role is an integral part of our global Asset Management Center of Excellence (AM CoE), responsible for implementing and continuously improving the end-to-end asset management framework, with a primary focus on ensuring stability, productivity and cost effectiveness through Reliability Excellence (REX).
As the Regional Reliability Excellence Manager, you'll play a crucial role in shaping and optimizing our asset management strategies and overall productivity and performance across multiple locations. You'll have the opportunity to influence and lead initiatives that impact the safety, performance, productivity, and total cost of our assets.
Your key responsibilities in this role will be:
Ensuring effective and efficient implementation of the Global AM CoE Standard REX program and processes in the assigned region to deliver safety, stability and productivity business outcomes
Drive quality deployment and continuous improvement of maintenance and reliability functional processes.
Collaborate with locations in the region to develop and support REX implementation plans.
Act as the first point of contact for all Reliability Excellence and maintenance issues in the region.
Monitor and track progress and performance, ensuring effective governance processes are in place.
Be a key escalation point for excess spend or risk reduction programs related to Asset Management.
Contribute to global AM CoE initiatives, specializing in REX, with a focus on asset performance improvement and risk reduction.
Collaborating closely with the Global AM CoE to ensure the identification and implementation of maintenance and reliability related improvement opportunities & best practice

What you can bring to the role:
To play a part in our ongoing success we are seeking someone with:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably mechanical), with a Master's/Doctorate highly desirable.
A track record of experience in Maintenance/Reliability practice and leadership in within operations based roles.
Strong knowledge and expertise in Refinery, Mining, and Smelting installed asset bases (Mechanical and/or Electrical).
Exceptional influencing skills with a collegial/consultative leadership style.
Excellent communication, consulting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with key peers, stakeholders, and customers.
