THE OPPORTUNITY
As a result of an internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity available for a Regional Sales Manager to join our Trauma & CMF business at DePuy Synthes responsible for managing Queensland. Reporting to the Business Unit Leader, you will lead a team of Sales Representatives to achieve sales targets and agreed account metrics, identifying, and developing business opportunities by disrupting customer thinking and building consensus for DePuy Synthes solutions while managing the company's activities and resources applied to each account within the region.
Working closely with the Sales and Marketing team to deliver and exceed the agreed business plan, you will promote key account planning as a way of working while coaching and mentoring team members to develop their account management competencies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Translate the national marketing & sales plans into regional plans and share these with Sales Representatives to align their plans with accounts
- Allocate resources according to account segmentation and targeting
- Increase unit growth, profitability, and market share for existing and potential customers
- Implement business strategies and coordinate internal business processes to support and deliver service value where appropriate that result in improved outcomes for the customer
- Analyse aggregate account data and information (sales, account plans etc) and develop regional insights that are valuable to Medical Devices, on our current and future business positions
- Manage regional budgets and provide feedback to management on outcomes of expenditure
- Complete routine administration tasks on time and accurately e.g. monthly reports, expenses, mileage reports
- Report Adverse Events and product quality complaints in a timely way according to current guidelines/SOP.
