The purpose of this role is to work in partnership with women to provide contemporary evidence based woman focused care, in collaboration with the interprofessional health care team to facilitate optimal health outcomes and undertake delegated activities while assuming individual accountability for actions within the position and context of practice.
The Midwife MGP, works within a Continuity of Care model to provide clinical management of antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care for women of all risk levels ensuring quality standards are met. This role works autonomously within the interdisciplinary team and is pivotal in the planning, managing, and delivering of continuity of midwifery care.
