What is the opportunity?
As a Registered Nurse, you will be working closely with the Clinical Care Director, Executive Director and the wider clinical team to ensure our residents receive the highest standard of care. You'll also provide guidance to Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Attendants.
You'll have the opportunity to use best practice clinical care in ensuring our residents are safe and well, all while being supported in a friendly environment.
You'll be responsible for:
- Completing comprehensive, individual assessments and care plans for new and existing residents
- Ensuring timely and accurate documentation including ACFI and Commonwealth standards
- Providing Leadership and supervision to Personal Care Workers and Enrolled Nurses and promote a holistic team approach to the delivery of resident care
- Using sound knowledge and procedural responsibility in medication management, wound assessment and dressing technique
What do you need?
You will be passionate about a career within Aged Care - recognising the special work you, and your team do through ensuring our residents and their families are cared for to the highest level.
You'll have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a diverse and, at times, challenging environment. You will enjoy working autonomously, as well as within a team environment.
You will also have the following demonstrable skills and experience:
- Current AHPRA Registration
- The ability to make decisions in a diverse environment
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow policies and procedures
- High levels of written and verbal communication skills
- The highest of standards for clinical documentation
- The ability to guide and mentor a team
- Prior ACFI experience (Highly regarded)
- Commitment to Work Health and Safety principle
