Job description

Join our dynamic team at the forefront of maternity care excellence! We're looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to play a vital role in our specialised 5-bed Medical and Surgical pod within the Maternity Unit in the new state of the art facility at Maitland Hospital.
Beyond essential patient care and medication management, you'll build meaningful relationships with our patients and collaborate closely with theatres and allied services. Your leadership skills and ability to work independently will shine as you deliver exceptional, woman-centred care.

Our successful candidate will receive support from experienced mentors—including our Midwife Unit Manager, Team Leader, and Nurse Educator—you'll have the opportunity to grow professionally while making a real difference in the lives of mothers and their families. 

This role will include rostered shift work.

About you:

  • You have extensive post-graduate experience in medical and surgical models

Requirements and additional information: 

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • An eligibility list will be created for future permanent part time and temporary part time vacancies.
