We are seeking Registered Nurses to join our innovative and dynamic team at our brand-new Cancer Centre, co-located within Norwest Private Hospital. As part of the hospital’s new comprehensive cancer centre, Icon will deliver Norwest’s first radiation oncology service using the latest advances in technology. This is an opportunity to be a crucial member of an exciting new centre from inception.

About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our team at our new Icon Cancer Centre in Norwest, Sydney. This position will report to the Nurse Manager and will focus on the delivery of exceptional personalised cancer care to patients and their families within our Radiation Oncology department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute expert advice and demonstrate contemporary nursing knowledge and skill in oncology nursing practice in accordance with current legislation and professional standards and codes of practice.
- Support a high performance culture that delivers quality patient care services through a patient centric and collaborative approach.
- Assisting doctors with procedures and providing pre and post procedure care and education
- Maintaining and updating patients written and electronic records
- Providing emotional support to patients, families and carers
- Support the Nurse Manager in the day-to-day operations

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Our ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Current registration with AHPRA.
- Recent experience in Radiation Oncology/Oncology Nursing.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the provision of exceptional patient care.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
