As a Registered Nurse – Anaesthetics your responsibilities will include:
Deliver safe, researched-based standards of perioperative nursing care
Provide complex and multi-disciplinary care
Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs
Act as a role model for Safe Practice
Supervise, direct and support nursing team members
Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care
Essential Criteria:
Authority to Work in Australia
Current unconditional Registration with AHPRA
2+ years relevant post registration experience in Anaesthetics
Working with Children check
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
Commitment to quality patient care
Works independently and within a team
Exceptional time management and organisational skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Exceptional computer skills
Desirable Criteria:
Post-graduate qualification in Anaesthetics or working towards
