About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Registered Nurses to join our multidisciplinary team and support our award winning health service. Our highly skilled Nurses within the Day Stay Unit work cohesively along with various clinical services to provide positive outcomes for patients and their families in a safe and caring environment.
The Day Stay Unit has 15 patient beds for day procedures, plus an additional 5 chairs for day infusions.
This role collaborates with other staff to form a cohesive healthcare team and maximise work performance by motivating other team members, whilst communicating effectively with patients, family, carers, visitors and staff at all levels within the organisation.
This is a permanent part time (64 hours per fortnight) position.
What you bring
The successful applicant(s) will be currently registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse with relevant experience and demonstrated high level clinical and problem solving skills together with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development will be highly regarded. They will also display excellent time management skills and show initiative to enable work to be prioritised and achieved on a daily basis to meet goals. Experience in surgical/day procedures is preferred.
