Hobart Private Hospital is seeking permanent full-time Emergency Department Registered Nurses.
Hobart Private Hospital is a fully accredited facility with 146 beds co-located with the Royal Hobart Hospital in the heart of the city. Hobart Private Hospital provides Emergency Services, Angiography and Cardiac Services, Maternity, Medical, Surgical, Day Surgery and Endoscopy.
As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include:
Deliver evidence based nursing care
Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
Ensure patient and staff safety
Supervise, direct and support nursing team members
Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery
Essential Criteria:
Current Registration with AHPRA
Minimum 2 years Post Graduate Experience
Working with Children check
Commitment to Quality Patient Care
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
Good clinical decision making and problem solving skills
Works well independently and within a team
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Proficient computer skills
Emergency Department Experience
Desirable Criteria:
Relevant post graduate qualification
Triage Competency
If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope – Tasmania – Nurses and Midwives Enterprise Agreement 2021-2024, a salary ranging from $36.07 - $48.28 per hour.
