Form of work Excellent opportunities exist for Registered Nurses with extensive emergency experience or postgraduate qualifications in critical care and emergency nursing to join the Emergency Department at a private hospital in Melbourne. Permanent full-time and part-time positions are available.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse, you will work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team and act as a role model for Safe Practice. Your responsibilities will include delivering safe, researched-based standards of nursing care, providing complex and multi-disciplinary care and delivering education and support to individuals/patients to manage their health recovery.
REQUIREMENTS
Current registration with AHPRA;
Authority to Work in Australia;
Working with Children check (if relevant);
Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent;
Demonstrated experience in emergency or critical care nursing;
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards;
Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement;
Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high-functioning team;
Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer-focused;
Flexibility to work a roster of Morning and Afternoon shifts as well as Saturdays when required;

REMUNERATION
$34.56 - $46.22 per hour.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in Melbourne, is a fully accredited tertiary facility that provides Emergency Services, Extensive Surgical Specialities, a 20-bed ICU/CCU, Medical, and a full range of Cardiac Services, including two 24-hour Cardiac Catheter Laboratories. The dedicated, 10 Bed, standalone Coronary Care Unit has a highly skilled team caring for patients with acute cardiac conditions and procedures such as TAVI, Ablations and Interventions.
