About us
We are a long-established medical and skin clinic based in Mill Park with a history of quality, patient-centred healthcare.
We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse or an Enrolled Nurse with excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible can-do attitude and knowledge or interest in aesthetics to join our growing team.
About the Role
Reporting to a supportive General Practitioner (GP), your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conducting patient triaging and escalation
- General day to day work within the treatment room, including restocking and ordering of consumables
- Wound care
- Care plans and chronic disease management
- Conducting health assessments
- Administering COVID-19 vaccination
- Assisting the GP in surgical & cosmetic procedures
- Immunisations and cold chain management
- Infection control procedures
- Answering phone calls and assisting with patient enquiries and clinical administration work
- Other duties as required
About you
We are looking for someone who has:
- Diploma of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Current AHPRA with no restrictions
- Immunisation Certificate
- Previous general practice experience (recommended but not essential)
- Knowledge or interest in aesthetics (highly desirable)
- Excellent communication and patient assessment skills
- Ability to deliver quality patient care
- Knowledge of current legislation and policies relating to nursing practice in the workplace
- Computer literacy and proficiency
- Ability to work independently but also as part of a team
